Freight Audit and Payments Analyst

• *Position Summary**

The FAP (Freight Audit and Payments) Analyst is responsible for providing support to FAP regional lead(s) as needed. The person in this role will be cross trained to handle FAP processes in all regions.

• *Key Areas of Responsibility**

• Provide support for Logistics Operations and Procurement teams.
• Provide support to FAP regional leads as required.
• Work with transportation suppliers to reconcile issues with freight invoice statements of account.
• Analyze freight data for process improvement opportunities and drive cost out processes.
• Create and analyze reports to support business execution and decision making.
• Support ad hoc reporting and analytics as required.
• Work with other internal data management teams to standardize and automate data visualization.

• *Qualifications and Required Attributes**

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business (with emphasis in Logistics/Supply Chain Management), or related discipline.
• 3\-7 years’ experience in Logistics/Transportation, Supply Chain and/or Operations processes and systems. Freight Audit and Payment experience a plus.
• Experience and understanding of transportation rates and accessorial charges a plus.
• Carrier/supplier interaction experience.
• Quantitative analysis skills, with a proven hands\-on experience with MS Excel, with exceptional data handling skills. Should be able to efficiently and effectively manage data from multiple sources, including utilization of data query tools. Formal data analytics (statistics, machine learning, clustering, etc.) training a plus.
• 2 Years’ experience working in a multi\-country environment, with experience working with multiple cultures. The person in this role will interact with people in numerous countries.
• Excellent communication, business, analytical, and problem\-solving/trouble\-shooting skills.
