  • *Role Overview**

The Front Desk Associate is much more than a receptionist. As the **first face and voice of Firgun**, you are responsible for creating memorable guest experiences while ensuring smooth front office operations and maintaining the highest hospitality standards.

This role demands an individual who combines operational excellence with genuine warmth, strategic thinking, and problem\-solving abilities. You will execute Firgun's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintain operational accuracy, coordinate with multiple departments, and proactively improve the guest journey from arrival to departure.

Equally important, you will act as a **Community Host**, fostering meaningful interactions among guests and team members while promoting Firgun's culture, local experiences, workshops, and community\-driven initiatives.

  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences from check\-in to check\-out.
  • Welcome every guest warmly and create memorable first impressions.
  • Manage smooth and efficient check\-in and check\-out procedures.
  • Build genuine relationships with guests and encourage repeat visits.
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution.
  • Collect guest feedback and convert insights into service improvements.
  • Introduce guests to Firgun's philosophy, experiences, and community culture.
  • Ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and connected.
  • *Front Office Operations**
  • Execute all Front Office SOPs and operational protocols with complete compliance.
  • Manage reservations across OTA platforms, direct bookings, and walk\-ins.
  • Coordinate room readiness with the Housekeeping team.
  • Process guest billing, invoices, cash handling, and digital payments accurately.
  • Maintain guest records, documentation, and statutory compliance.
  • Update reservation systems, guest registers, and Lost \& Found records.
  • Ensure smooth shift handovers with accurate documentation.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and professional reception area.
  • *Strategic Execution \& Operational Excellence**
  • Execute management directives, SOPs, and operational initiatives effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to improve guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Suggest process improvements based on guest feedback and operational observations.
  • Support implementation of new systems, policies, and protocols.
  • Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and proactive decision\-making.
  • Assist in maintaining seamless coordination across all departments.
  • *Community Building \& Guest Engagement**
  • Actively build Firgun's guest community through authentic conversations and meaningful engagement.
  • Promote Firgun's workshops, hikes, café experiences, cultural events, and local artisans.
  • Encourage guests to participate in community activities and shared experiences.
  • Introduce guests to Firgun Studio products and other Firgun properties.
  • Create an atmosphere where guests naturally connect with each other and the local culture.
  • Support internal team\-building initiatives that strengthen Firgun's workplace culture.
  • *Revenue Generation \& Upselling**
  • Promote Firgun Studio merchandise and local products.
  • Upsell café offerings, workshops, experiences, and extended stays.
  • Encourage direct bookings and repeat visits.
  • Assist in achieving occupancy and revenue targets.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance guest spending through ethical recommendations.
  • *Reporting \& Documentation**
  • Maintain accurate daily operational reports.
  • Prepare guest feedback reports and reservation logs.
  • Maintain cash reconciliation records.
  • Update Lost \& Found registers.
  • Ensure all documentation is audit\-ready.
  • Report operational issues, maintenance concerns, and guest incidents promptly.
  • *Team Collaboration**
  • Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Café, Kitchen, Maintenance, and Operations teams.
  • Support other departments during peak operational hours.
  • Participate actively in daily briefings and operational meetings.
  • Maintain professional communication across all departments.
  • Lead by example through discipline, teamwork, and accountability.
  • *What We Are Looking ForEducation**
  • Graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline.
  • Hospitality certification will be an added advantage.
  • *Experience**
  • **2–4 years** of experience in Front Office, Hospitality, Hotels, Resorts, Hostels, or Guest Relations.
  • Experience with OTA management and Property Management Systems (PMS) is preferred.
  • *Required Skills**
  • Exceptional communication skills in English and Hindi.

The Front Desk Associate is expected to function as an **Operational Ambassador** of Firgun Experiences.

The role requires complete ownership of the front office by ensuring flawless execution of SOPs, maintaining operational discipline, anticipating guest needs, and supporting management in implementing strategic initiatives that enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Beyond operations, the Front Desk Associate will serve as a **Community Leader**, fostering meaningful relationships among guests and team members. The individual will actively promote Firgun's values of warmth, collaboration, authenticity, and local culture while creating an environment where every guest feels welcomed, connected, and part of the Firgun family.
