Footprints Mental Health Counseling is looking for a skilled and adaptable **Full\-Stack AI Developer** to help build, enhance, and maintain our growing digital platform. This is an opportunity for a developer who is interested not only in web development but also in **AI integration, automation, system architecture, and end\-to\-end product development**.

The ideal candidate will have strong full\-stack development skills, an understanding of modern AI tools and workflows, and the ability to take ownership of projects from concept through implementation. Because this is a long\-term project with significant future scope, we are looking for someone who can understand the overall platform, identify technical solutions, and continuously improve the system as it evolves.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web\-based applications and platform features across the front end and back end.
• Integrate AI tools, APIs, automation, and AI\-powered workflows into existing and new platform features.
• Work closely with the team to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Take ownership of projects from planning and development through testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvements.
• Evaluate new technologies, AI tools, frameworks, and development approaches that could improve efficiency and platform capabilities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues while maintaining application performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
• Design and maintain APIs, databases, integrations, and other back\-end systems as needed.
• Collaborate with non\-technical team members and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Maintain clear documentation of systems, workflows, code, and technical decisions.
• Continuously look for opportunities to automate repetitive processes and improve the overall user and administrative experience.

• *Required Qualifications**

• Strong experience in full\-stack web development.
• Proficiency with modern front\-end and back\-end development technologies.
• Experience working with databases, APIs, integrations, and third\-party services.
• Experience using AI development tools, APIs, LLMs, or AI\-assisted coding workflows, or a strong willingness and ability to learn them quickly.
• Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to understand a complex project and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and project\-management skills.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and follow projects through to completion.

• *Preferred Qualifications**

• Experience integrating OpenAI or other LLM\-based APIs into applications.
• Experience with AI agents, automation, prompt engineering, RAG, or AI\-powered workflows.
• Experience building scalable platforms or internal business applications.
• Experience working with cloud services, authentication systems, and third\-party API integrations.
• Experience using AI coding assistants and modern AI development workflows.
• Experience working in a healthcare, behavioral health, SaaS, or other data\-sensitive environment is a plus.
