**About the Role**

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in building scalable web applications, backend services, and real\-time data processing systems. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience with Node.js, React.js, Next.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, and modern containerization technologies.

Experience with **IoT device telemetry, MQTT, WebSockets, and distributed systems** is highly desirable. You will work on applications that communicate with connected devices, ingest and process telemetry data, and deliver real\-time insights through interactive dashboards and backend services.

The ideal candidate should understand the complete lifecycle of data, from device communication and ingestion to backend processing, database storage, and real\-time visualization.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Design, develop, and maintain full\-stack applications using React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and Express.js.
• Build secure and efficient REST APIs, and design and optimize PostgreSQL databases and Redis caching.
• Develop real\-time communication systems using WebSockets and MQTT, including IoT device connectivity and telemetry ingestion.
• Process and manage IoT telemetry data, including device status, sensor readings, timestamps, location data, and real\-time dashboard visualization.
• Deploy and maintain applications using Docker and Linux, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure application reliability, performance, and maintainability.

**Required Technical Skills**

• *1\. Backend Development**

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands\-on experience with Express.js, middleware, routing, and API development.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, Promises, async/await, the Node.js event loop, and error handling.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and modular, maintainable backend services.
• Understanding of concurrency, non\-blocking I/O, and efficient handling of multiple simultaneous connections.

• *2\. Frontend Development**

• Strong proficiency in React.js, including hooks, component architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
• Hands\-on experience with Next.js, including routing, server\-side rendering, and server components.
• Experience building responsive, data\-intensive dashboards and real\-time user interfaces.
• Ability to efficiently handle frequent UI updates and visualize live and historical data.

• *3\. Databases and Caching**

• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including relational data modeling, joins, indexes, transactions, and query optimization.
• Experience handling time\-series or timestamp\-based telemetry data in relational databases.
• Practical experience with Redis for caching, pub/sub, session management, or low\-latency data access.
• Understanding of database connection pooling, data consistency, and performance optimization.

• *4\. IoT, MQTT, and Real\-Time Communication**

• Hands\-on experience with MQTT\-based messaging and IoT device communication.
• Understanding of MQTT concepts, including brokers, publishers, subscribers, topics, QoS levels, retained messages, and Last Will and Testament (LWT).
• Experience implementing WebSocket\-based communication for real\-time data streaming and live dashboard updates.
• Understanding of device connectivity, message payload parsing, telemetry validation, timestamps, and device identification.
• Experience handling intermittent connectivity, duplicate messages, out\-of\-order events, reconnection strategies, and unreliable networks.
• Ability to build reliable pipelines for receiving, processing, storing, and distributing telemetry data from connected devices.

• *5\. Distributed Systems and System Design**

• Strong understanding of distributed systems fundamentals and scalable backend architecture.
• Experience designing systems that handle concurrent requests, multiple devices, and high\-throughput data streams.
• Understanding of idempotency, race conditions, and fault tolerance.
• Knowledge of event\-driven architecture, message delivery guarantees, and eventual consistency.
• Familiarity with horizontal scaling, load balancing, caching strategies, and distributed communication patterns.
• Ability to identify performance bottlenecks and design systems for reliability and maintainability.

• *6\. Cloud, Docker, and Linux**

• Hands\-on experience with AWS S3 for object storage and file management.
• Good knowledge of Docker, Dockerfiles, Docker Compose, and containerized application deployment.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments, including shell commands, process management, networking, logs, permissions, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of environment configuration, deployment workflows, application security, and production debugging.

• *Good to Have**

• Experience with IoT gateways, industrial devices, sensors, GPS trackers, or telematics systems.
• Familiarity with industrial telemetry protocols such as TCP, UDP, Modbus, or CAN\-based data integrations.
• Experience with time\-series databases or analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with message brokers, event streaming platforms, and asynchronous job processing.
• Experience with AWS EC2, ECS, RDS, CloudWatch, or other cloud infrastructure services.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and observability.
• Experience working with high\-frequency telemetry, geospatial data, or real\-time fleet and equipment monitoring systems.

• *Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to take ownership of features from design and implementation through deployment and production support.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into reliable software solutions.

We are looking for an engineer who can work across the entire application stack while understanding the challenges of real\-time, device\-driven systems. The ideal candidate should be comfortable building user interfaces, designing backend APIs, integrating IoT devices, processing telemetry streams, and ensuring that systems remain reliable as the number of connected devices and volume of data increase.
