Job Role: Full Stack Software Engineer – Cloud \& AI Development

Key Responsibilities

• *1\. Frontend Development \& Management**

• Develop, maintain, and optimise web applications using React, TypeScript, and Vite.
• Manage user interfaces using Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Radix UI, and lucide\-react.
• Handle server\-state management using TanStack Query and client\-state management using Zustand.
• Develop and maintain forms using React Hook Form and Zod validation.
• Manage React Router navigation, Tiptap rich\-text functionality, Axios API communication, and date\-fns utilities.
• Troubleshoot frontend errors, improve performance, and maintain responsive interfaces.

• *2\. Backend Development \& API Management**

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot backend applications using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.
• Manage REST APIs, business logic, data processing, and frontend\-backend integration.
• Maintain PostgreSQL databases using Prisma ORM.
• Manage database schemas, migrations, queries, relationships, and performance optimisation.
• Identify and resolve backend errors, API failures, and application performance issues.

• *3\. Authentication \& Application Security**

• Manage JWT\-based authentication and user access controls.
• Maintain password security using bcryptjs.
• Configure and manage Helmet, CORS, and express\-rate\-limit.
• Implement input validation using Zod and HTML sanitisation using sanitize\-html.
• Maintain secure authentication, authorisation, and role\-based access management.
• Monitor application vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security measures.

• *4\. Cloud Infrastructure \& Deployment Management**

• Manage cloud\-hosted application environments, particularly AWS\-based infrastructure.
• Maintain application deployment, server configuration, environment variables, and production environments.
• Manage AWS S3 storage, SDK integrations, file uploads, and presigned URLs.
• Configure and monitor application hosting, SSL certificates, DNS, and cloud resource access.
• Implement deployment pipelines, application monitoring, automated backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and maintain application availability, security, and performance.
• Monitor and optimise cloud infrastructure costs.

• *5\. Third\-Party Integrations \& Payment Systems**

• Manage Razorpay payment gateway integrations, payment verification, transaction status updates, and webhook handling.
• Maintain Resend and Nodemailer email integrations.
• Manage QR\-code generation and e\-ticketing functionality.
• Maintain file upload functionality using Multer and AWS S3\.
• Troubleshoot third\-party API integrations and communication failures.
• Maintain secure integration credentials and API configurations.

• *6\. Background Processes \& System Automation**

• Manage scheduled background processes using node\-cron.
• Maintain automated notifications, scheduled activities, and system\-generated communications.
• Monitor automated task execution and resolve scheduling failures.
• Improve the reliability and efficiency of background processing.

• *7\. AI\-Assisted Software Development**

• Demonstrate strong practical experience using **Claude Code and OpenAI Codex** for professional software development.
• Use Claude Code and Codex for code generation, debugging, refactoring, testing, documentation, and software optimisation.
• Develop new features and modules using AI\-assisted development workflows.
• Use AI coding agents to understand existing codebases, identify technical issues, and implement improvements.
• Review, validate, test, and secure AI\-generated code before production deployment.
• Maintain effective AI development workflows using Git repositories, code reviews, and version control.
• Experience with Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and other AI development tools will be an added advantage.
• Maintain clear documentation of AI\-assisted development activities and code changes.

• *8\. Software Testing, Debugging \& Quality Assurance**

• Develop and maintain automated tests using Vitest.
• Monitor HTTP request logs and application activity using Morgan.
• Identify and resolve frontend, backend, database, and integration\-related defects.
• Perform regression testing before software updates and deployments.
• Maintain software stability, functionality, and performance.

• *9\. Software Maintenance \& Technical Operations**

• Independently manage the technical operations of the existing software platform.
• Monitor system performance, application availability, and technical errors.
• Implement software updates, security patches, and functional improvements.
• Manage source code repositories, version control, and deployment processes.
• Coordinate with management to understand business requirements and implement software enhancements.
• Maintain technical documentation, system architecture records, and operational procedures.

Mandatory Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in full stack software development.
• **Strong hands\-on experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, and Prisma ORM is mandatory.**
• Practical experience managing cloud\-hosted production applications.
• Experience with AWS S3, application deployment, and cloud infrastructure management.
• Strong understanding of authentication, application security, and role\-based access controls.
• Experience integrating payment gateways, email services, and third\-party APIs.
• **Practical experience with Claude Code and OpenAI Codex is mandatory.**
• Ability to independently understand, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade an existing software application.
• Strong debugging, problem\-solving, and technical documentation skills.
• Experience with Git, software testing, and production deployment workflows.

Practical Technical Assessment – Mandatory

All shortlisted candidates must complete a practical technical assessment in a controlled test environment before final selection.

The assessment will evaluate the candidate's ability to independently manage the organisation's existing software architecture.

• **Frontend Development:** Develop or modify a functional React and TypeScript interface using the existing UI libraries, including form validation, API integration, and state management.
• **Backend Development:** Create or modify Node.js and Express APIs, implement business logic, and manage PostgreSQL database operations using Prisma ORM.
• **Debugging \& Troubleshooting:** Identify and resolve intentionally introduced frontend, backend, database, and API integration errors.
• **Cloud Infrastructure:** Deploy a sample application to an authorised cloud test environment, configure environment variables, manage AWS S3 integration, and demonstrate application monitoring.
• **Payment Gateway Integration:** Implement and test a Razorpay payment workflow using test credentials, including payment verification, webhook validation, and transaction status management.
• **AI\-Assisted Development Using Claude Code:** Demonstrate the ability to analyse an existing codebase, develop or modify a feature, identify errors, and improve code quality using Claude Code.
• **AI\-Assisted Development Using OpenAI Codex:** Demonstrate practical experience using Codex to implement software changes, debug application issues, create tests, and review code.
• **Security \& Authentication:** Demonstrate JWT authentication, role\-based access management, input validation, and secure API implementation.
• **Testing \& Quality Assurance:** Create automated tests using Vitest and demonstrate proper debugging, error handling, and regression testing.

• *Assessment Conditions**

• The assessment must be conducted using a dedicated test application, isolated database, and authorised cloud test environment.
• Candidates must not receive access to live production credentials, customer information, or sensitive business data.
• AI\-assisted development is permitted and expected, but candidates must demonstrate a clear understanding of the generated code.
• Candidates must explain their technical decisions, demonstrate the completed functionality, and resolve issues independently.
• Final selection will be based on demonstrated technical competence, software quality, security awareness, and independent problem\-solving capabilities.

Primary Objective

To independently manage, maintain, secure, and continuously develop the organisation's existing software platform using its established technology stack, cloud infrastructure, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and other AI\-assisted development tools.

The selected candidate must be capable of handling both day\-to\-day technical operations and future software development requirements without requiring extensive external technical support.

Pay: ₹30,000\.00 \- ₹40,000\.00 per month
