As a Fund Servicing Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a crucial role in our fund servicing operations. Your primary focus will be on executing routine transactions and collaborating with various teams. You will also apply your knowledge of fund servicing to ensure smooth operations, while also identifying opportunities for process improvements. - *Job responsibilities*** Process and review accounting transactions for unlisted investments, including Private Equity Unit Trusts, Unlisted Unit Trusts, Third\-Party Cash, and Term Deposits, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Manage daily operational activities including cash movements, pricing requests, fund manager statements, interest accruals, and month\-end accounting inputs within agreed service levels.
- Perform asset valuations and revaluations by reconciling accounting records to Fund Manager, General Partner, and issuer bank statements.
- Investigate, resolve, and escalate cash, stock, valuation, and reconciliation exceptions to ensure timely closure of operational breaks.
- Review month\-end reconciliation packs, control evidence, sign\-offs, and outstanding items supporting Fund Accounting and client reporting requirements.
- Act as the key liaison with Fund Managers, issuer banks, Custody, Fund Accounting, Client Service teams, and other stakeholders to resolve queries and support service delivery.
- Lead and develop a team by allocating work, reviewing deliverables, providing coaching, and maintaining a robust maker\-checker control framework.
- Represent Managed Funds Accounting in audits, due diligence reviews, stakeholder meetings, service reviews, and operational governance forums.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying process risks, strengthening controls, and leveraging automation, Alteryx, Excel, and AI\-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- *Required qualifications, capabilities and skills**
- 8\+ years of experience in Fund Accounting, Securities Services, Managed Funds, Private Markets, Unlisted Assets, or related financial services operations.
- Strong knowledge of fund accounting concepts, accounting entries, asset valuations, pricing controls, and month\-end close activities.
- Hands\-on experience managing cash, stock, and reconciliation processes within a controlled operational environment.
- Proven ability to lead teams, review work, manage deliverables, coach colleagues, and effectively manage escalations.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem\-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with experience interacting with Fund Managers, banks, clients, and internal partners.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Management.
- *Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Exposure to unlisted investments such as Private Equity, Unlisted Unit Trusts, Third\-Party Cash, and Term Deposits is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications; knowledge of Alteryx, reconciliation platforms, workflow tools, or accounting systems is advantageous.
- MBA, CA, CFA, or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred
