About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Cocos Game Developer with strong expertise in Cocos Creator to build, optimize, and maintain high\-performance mobile and web\-based games. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience developing multiplayer, real\-time, and interactive gaming applications with a strong understanding of game architecture, performance optimization, and backend integrations.
Key ResponsibilitiesGame Development
- Design, develop, and maintain games using Cocos Creator (3\.x preferred).
- Build engaging gameplay mechanics, UI systems, animations, and game features.
- Develop cross\-platform games for Android, iOS, and Web.
- Implement game logic using TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Create reusable and scalable game modules and components.
Performance \& Optimization
- Optimize game performance for low\-end and mid\-range devices.
- Improve FPS, memory usage, loading times, and rendering efficiency.
- Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure smooth gameplay across different screen sizes and platforms.
Multiplayer \& Real\-Time Features
- Integrate real\-time communication systems such as WebSockets, Socket.IO, or LiveKit.
- Develop multiplayer game mechanics and synchronization logic.
- Handle matchmaking, leaderboards, tournaments, and player progression systems.
- Implement anti\-cheat and game security best practices.
Backend Integration
- Integrate games with REST APIs and WebSocket services.
- Work closely with Node.js backend developers.
- Implement authentication, user profiles, in\-app purchases, rewards, and virtual currency systems.
- Integrate analytics, crash reporting, and event tracking solutions.
Deployment \& Maintenance
- Publish and maintain games on Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Web platforms.
- Handle game updates, patches, and bug fixes.
- Monitor game stability and performance metrics.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Cocos Creator (2\.x and/or 3\.x).
- Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Experience developing mobile and web games.
- Strong understanding of game architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with REST APIs and WebSocket communication.
- Knowledge of game physics, animations, particle systems, and UI development.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Understanding of mobile optimization and memory management.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with multiplayer game development.
- Knowledge of Node.js backend integration.
- Experience with Firebase services.
- Familiarity with AWS deployment and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience integrating payment gateways and in\-app purchases.
- Knowledge of LiveOps systems, leaderboards, tournaments, and reward engines.
- Experience with PlayFab, Firebase, or custom gaming backends.
Nice to Have
- Experience migrating games from Unity to Cocos Creator.
- Experience developing casino, card, puzzle, casual, or real\-money gaming applications.
- Familiarity with WebGL and browser\-based game optimization.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for game deployment.
Pay: Up to ₹50,000\.00 per month
