Job Summary

The Cloud \& On\-Premise Networking L3 Engineer is responsible for the advanced

design, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization of both cloud and on\-premise

network infrastructures. This role acts as an escalation point for complex issues,

collaborates with cross\-functional teams, and ensures the reliability, security, and

performance of hybrid network services.

Location – Hyderabad and Pune

24\*7 support window(in shift)

Key Responsibilities

On\-Premise \& Cloud Networking

 Design, configure, and troubleshoot advanced on\-premise network

infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, and data center environments.

 Implement and manage routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF/EIGRP for

optimal network performance and reliability.

 Design, deploy, and manage advanced cloud network architectures (AWS,

Azure, GCP).

 Implement and maintain cloud networking components such as VPCs, subnets,

VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and direct connect/express route circuits.

 Configure and maintain Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, routers, and firewalls.

 Oversee VLANs, trunking, and inter\-VLAN routing to ensure efficient traffic

segmentation and flow.

 Integrate on\-premise networks with cloud environments for seamless hybrid

connectivity.

 Ensure high availability and redundancy using technologies like HSRP, VRRP,

and link aggregation.

General \& Cross\-Functional

 Act as an escalation point for Level 2 engineers, resolving complex incidents and

problems.

 Collaborate with application, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure

seamless integration and compliance.

 Participate in on\-call rotations and provide after\-hours support as needed.

 Document network designs, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

 Stay updated on emerging cloud and on\-premise networking technologies and

best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

(or equivalent experience).

 10\+ years of experience in networking, with at least 5 years focused on cloud

networking and hybrid environments.

 Expert\-level knowledge of cloud networking services in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

 Strong experience with routing (BGP, OSPF), switching, firewalls, VPNs, and

DNS in both cloud and on\-premise environments.

 Solid understanding of LAN technologies, VLANs, trunking, and inter\-VLAN

routing.

 Proficiency in troubleshooting complex network issues using both cloud\-native

and traditional network tools (Wireshark etc.).

 Experience with automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).

 Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Azure

Network Engineer Associate, CCNP/CCIE) are preferred.

 Excellent communication, documentation, and problem\-solving skills.
