Job Summary
The General Manager – Sales is responsible for leading and managing the entire sales function of the dealership, ensuring achievement of sales targets, profitability, customer satisfaction, and team performance. The role involves strategic planning, sales operations management, team development, market analysis, and coordination with Maruti Suzuki standards and processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Management
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual vehicle sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share.
- Monitor showroom, field sales, and digital lead performance.
- Ensure effective lead management and enquiry conversion.
- Drive retail sales, exchange sales, finance, and insurance penetration.
Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate Sales Managers, Team Leaders, and Sales Consultants.
- Set KPIs and monitor individual and team performance.
- Conduct regular sales reviews and performance meetings.
- Identify training needs and arrange product and sales skill development programs.
Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and adherence to customer handling standards.
- Resolve customer escalations and complaints effectively.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement corrective actions.
Business Development
- Develop local marketing and promotional activities.
- Build relationships with corporate clients, institutions, and key customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and sales channels.
Operations \& Reporting
- Monitor sales pipeline, bookings, deliveries, and cancellations.
- Ensure compliance with Maruti Suzuki sales processes and dealership policies.
- Prepare MIS reports, sales forecasts, and performance dashboards.
- Coordinate with finance, insurance, service, and exchange departments.
Inventory Management
- Monitor vehicle stock levels and ageing inventory.
- Coordinate with OEM and dealership management for stock planning.
- Ensure optimum inventory utilization.
Pay: ₹80,000\.00 \- ₹150,000\.00 per month
