**Location: Hyderabad \| Experience: 10 Years \| Industry: Coal Trading***

*About the Role**

We are looking for an experienced **General Manager – Sales to lead business development and drive revenue growth for a coal trading organization across South India.** The ideal candidate should have a strong background in coal sales, strategic business development, and managing large\-scale business volumes, with a proven track record of generating substantial sales revenue.

*Key Responsibilities**

Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the coal trading business across South India.
Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with industrial customers, large corporates, and bulk coal buyers.
Drive revenue growth, increase market share, and achieve business targets.
Maintain relationships with existing clients while acquiring new customers.
Monitor market trends, coal pricing, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and long\-term supply contracts.
Monitor sales performance, profitability, outstanding payments, and customer credit exposure.
Lead, manage, and guide the sales team to achieve organizational goals.

*Preferred Candidate Profile**

**Experience:** Significant experience in coal trading, coal sales, energy, or the bulk commodities sector.
**Business Track Record:** Candidates who have generated or managed sales/business volumes of ₹1,000 crore or more will be strongly preferred.
**Regional Expertise:** Strong understanding of the South Indian market with established industry connections.
**Education:** Postgraduate qualification preferred.
**Mobility:** Must be willing to travel extensively across South India.
