Geriatric Counselling (GC) Manager – Homecare

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and coordinate psychologists and counselling professionals supporting elders receiving homecare services; guide teams in addressing behavioural, emotional and psychological needs.

· Guide teams in developing, implementing and regularly reviewing individualised care goals and counselling plans in coordination with relevant care teams and families.

· Develop and share common counselling, behavioural management and dementia\-care practices for homecare settings.

· Create and maintain standard protocols, formats, care plans and schedules for counselling and psychological care delivered through homecare services.

· Coordinate with Homecare Managers, care coordinators, nurses, caregivers, HR and other relevant teams to support integrated elder care.

· Plan and coordinate psychoeducation sessions for elders, families, caregivers and homecare teams.

· Review complex cases, monitor care outcomes, identify gaps and drive continuous improvement in counselling and psychological support.

· Track counselling activities and outcomes, maintain appropriate documentation, and provide consolidated reports to management.

· Support teams in maintaining confidentiality, professional boundaries and person\-centred care practices.

Education and Work Experience Requirements

· Qualification: Master’s degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology.

· Experience: 5\+ years of relevant experience, preferably in geriatric care, dementia care, homecare, healthcare or mental health.

Required Skills and Competencies

· Strong leadership, coordination and team guidance skills.

· Knowledge of geriatric counselling, behavioural management and dementia\-care practices.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with elders, families and multidisciplinary teams.

· Ability to review cases, monitor outcomes and identify opportunities for service improvement.

· Strong documentation, reporting and organisational skills.

Pay: ₹30,000\.00 \- ₹32,000\.00 per month
