Reliability is treated as a product, involving the establishment of Service Level Objectives with engineering and product leaders, management of error budgets, and decisions balancing deployment speed against system stability. The position demands hands-on involvement in both cloud and on-premises environments, from tuning Prometheus federations and Open Telemetry pipelines to resolving store connectivity issues during peak service. The engineer will lead priority incident response, conduct blameless post-mortems, and build robust solutions to enhance system resilience and performance.
