The Graduate Engineering Trainee is an entry\-level role designed for fresh graduates who are passionate about software engineering and modern digital technologies. The role focuses on learning and contributing to the design, development, testing, and delivery of scalable and efficient software solutions across web, API, and data platforms.

The individual will work closely with senior engineers, solution architects, and engineering managers to gain hands\-on experience in enterprise application development, cloud\-native technologies, and software engineering best practices. This role provides exposure to modern technology areas such as application and data integration, databases, DevOps, cloud computing, containerization, and emerging technologies like GenAI.

Collaboration, continuous learning, and problem\-solving are key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development and enhancement of software applications, APIs, and platform components under guidance.

Learn and apply software engineering best practices, coding standards, and design principles.

Write clean, readable, and maintainable code with support from senior team members.

Participate in unit testing, debugging, and basic performance optimization of applications.

Support implementation of small proof\-of\-concepts, prototypes, or technology experiments.

Work collaboratively with cross\-functional teams including development, QA, DevOps, and architecture.

Gain exposure to modern development tools, frameworks, and cloud platforms as part of projects.

Contribute to technical documentation, version control, and CI/CD activities.

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with mentoring support.

Actively participate in learning initiatives, code reviews, and knowledge\-sharing sessions.

Key skills required

Programming fundamentals with Java or other object\-oriented languages

Strong understanding of OOPS concepts

Basic knowledge of data structures and problem\-solving

Familiarity with databases (SQL / NoSQL concepts)

Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Willingness to learn multithreading, performance basics, and system design concepts

• *Good to Have:**

Basic awareness or coursework exposure toCloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)

Exposure toDocker, containers, or serverless concepts

Familiarity withNode.js or any backend scripting language

Basic understanding of frontend frameworks likeReact / Angular / Vue

Academic or project exposure toDevOps, CI/CD, or Git\-based version control

Curiosity and interest inGenAI and emerging technologies

B.E. / B. Tech / MCA / MSc\-IT

Fresh Graduate or up to 1 year of experience (including internships)

Strong academic foundation and hands\-on experience throughcollege projects, internships, or hackathons

Demonstrated interest in software engineering and enterprise technology environments
