Graphic Designer

• *Job Summary:**

ABODE School is seeking a creative and detail\-oriented Graphic Designer with prior experience in the education sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually engaging designs that support the school's branding, marketing, admissions, events, and internal communications. The candidate should be able to effectively translate ideas into compelling visual content across both digital and print platforms.

• *Key Responsibilities:**

• Design marketing and promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, banners, and advertisements.
• Create engaging social media creatives, reels thumbnails, and digital campaigns to enhance the school's online presence.
• Develop visual content for school events, celebrations, workshops, and academic programs.
• Design newsletters, presentations, certificates, and other internal communication materials.
• Collaborate with the admissions, marketing, and academic teams to create compelling branding and communication assets.
• Ensure consistency in the school's brand identity across all design materials.
• Edit and enhance photographs and videos for use on social media, the school website, and promotional materials.
• Coordinate with external vendors and printers to ensure timely delivery of printed materials.
• Stay updated on current design trends and recommend innovative ideas to strengthen the school's visual identity.
• Maintain an organized repository of design files and assets.

• *Qualifications \& Skills:**

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a school or educational institution.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
• Basic knowledge of video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
• Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast\-paced environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• *Preferred Qualifications:**

• Prior experience working in schools, educational institutions, or EdTech organizations.
• Experience in photography and videography will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with social media content planning and digital marketing concepts.
