### **The Role**
We are looking for a sharp, personable, and commercially minded professional to own the client\-facing side of our business. You will be the bridge between our customers and our engineering teams — understanding what clients need, shaping how we present our solutions, negotiating engagements, and helping grow our pipeline through smart digital marketing. This is a high\-visibility role with direct exposure to founders, clients, and delivery teams.
If you enjoy talking to customers, can hold your own in a solution discussion, and have a feel for how to position a technical product, this role is for you.
### **Key Responsibilities**
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing clients across the engagement lifecycle.
Conduct discovery conversations to understand business problems, technical needs, timelines, and budgets.
Translate client requirements into clear briefs that engineering and pre\-sales teams can act on.
Build and maintain strong, trust\-based relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals.
Manage the sales cycle from first contact through proposal, negotiation, and close.
Prepare commercial proposals, scope documents, and pricing in collaboration with delivery leads.
Negotiate terms, timelines, and contracts in a way that protects margins while keeping clients confident.
Maintain an accurate, up\-to\-date view of the pipeline in the CRM.
Create and deliver compelling presentations, demos, and capability decks to clients and stakeholders.
Represent Soulpage in client meetings, pitches, and industry events.
Tailor messaging for different audiences — technical buyers, business decision\-makers, and procurement.
Support inbound and outbound lead generation through LinkedIn, email outreach, and targeted campaigns.
Coordinate with content and design resources to produce case studies, posts, and collateral.
Track campaign performance and use insights to improve outreach and positioning.
Help maintain Soulpage’s brand presence across digital channels.
Work closely with engineering, pre\-sales, and leadership to align client expectations with delivery reality.
Provide market and client feedback to help shape service offerings and product direction.
2–5 years of experience in business development, client engagement, pre\-sales, inside sales, or a similar customer\-facing role — ideally in IT services, software, or technology consulting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident presenting to senior stakeholders.
Strong negotiation and relationship\-management abilities.
Working knowledge of digital marketing — LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, basic content/SEO awareness, and campaign metrics.
Ability to understand technical concepts (AI/ML, software, data) well enough to discuss them credibly with clients. (You don’t need to code, but you do need to “get it.")
Comfort with CRM tools and a structured, organized approach to managing a pipeline.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus but not required.
### **Nice to Have**
Prior exposure to AI/ML, data, or SaaS products and the buyers who purchase them.
Experience writing proposals or RFP responses for technology engagements.
Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Zoho, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar.
A network in the enterprise, startup, or technology ecosystem.
