Guest Faculty — Design

• *Role Overview**

We are looking for a practising designer or design academic to deliver course covering the principles and practice of design. The role suits an industry professional, freelance designer, or academic who can bring real\-world projects and contemporary tools into the classroom and help students build a strong design sensibility.

• *Educational Qualifications**

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design (B.Des / M.Des), Architecture, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a closely related discipline.
• A strong professional portfolio demonstrating depth of practice will be given significant weight, even in lieu of higher academic qualifications.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Plan and deliver instruction per week covering topics such as design thinking, UI/UX, visual design fundamentals, prototyping, or product design (final scope to be aligned with department needs).
• Design hands\-on studio assignments, sprint exercises, and project critiques.
• Introduce students to industry\-standard tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.) and contemporary design workflows.
• Provide one\-on\-one mentoring and portfolio guidance to interested students.
• Participate in jury panels, design reviews, and student showcase events where required.

• *Skills \& Competencies**

• Strong creative and visual communication skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in modern design tools and workflows.
• Ability to give constructive critique and nurture design thinking in non\-design backgrounds.
• Reliability and punctuality in delivering the weekly schedule.

• *Preferred**

• Currently working in a leading design studio, product company, or running an independent practice.
• Experience teaching or running design workshops.

Published work, awards, or speaking engagements in the design community.

Pay: ₹500\.00 \- ₹1,000\.00 per hour
