Head – Data Centre Facilities & Non-IT Operations

• *Role Overview**

Lead the complete non\-IT and critical\-facility operations of Calinova’s Data Centre, ensuring 24×7 safety, security, reliability, compliance and operational readiness. The role oversees MEP, facilities, physical security, EHS, fire \& life safety, BMS/IBMS, vendors, maintenance, emergency management, assets, budgets and facility projects.

• *Key Responsibilities**

· Lead overall non\-IT Data Centre operations and ensure facility readiness to support the targeted 99\.9% uptime.

· Develop and maintain SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, emergency response and business continuity procedures.

· Oversee critical MEP infrastructure including HT/LT systems, transformers, DG, UPS, ATS/STS, PDU, HVAC, chillers, CRAH/CRAC, fire systems and BMS/IBMS.

· Drive preventive/predictive maintenance, breakdown management, RCA/CAPA, equipment health and critical spares management.

· Support commissioning, integrated systems testing, operational readiness and project handover.

· Lead physical security, access control, CCTV, visitor/contractor management and security operations.

· Ensure EHS, fire \& life safety, emergency drills, incident investigation and statutory compliance.

· Manage facility, MEP, HVAC, electrical, security, fire \& safety, housekeeping, AMC/OEM and specialist vendors, including SLAs, KPIs and contract performance.

· Drive energy efficiency, sustainability and cooling\-efficiency initiatives, including PUE improvement.

· Own facility assets, critical spares, OPEX planning, budget control and cost optimisation without compromising safety or reliability.

· Coordinate customer audits/visits and maintain effective communication with government authorities, OEMs, project teams and internal stakeholders.

· Build and lead the Non\-IT Operations team, including workforce planning, recruitment, training, shift readiness and performance management.

· Drive operational excellence through KPI dashboards, risk assessments, audits, automation, incident analysis and continuous improvement.

• *Candidate Profile**

• *Education:** B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline – Mandatory; MBA/PG in Operations/Management – Preferred; CDCP, EHS/Fire \& Safety or PMP certifications – Advantageous.

• *Experience:** 15–20 years total; 10\+ years in Data Centre, Mission\-Critical Facilities or Critical Infrastructure operations; Tier III/Tier IV experience preferred; greenfield commissioning and operational handover preferred; 20MW\+ IT load or equivalent critical\-infrastructure exposure preferred; strong experience in 24×7 operations, MEP, vendors, compliance, emergency response and budgets.

• *Ideal Candidate Profile**

Senior Electrical/Mechanical Engineering professional with 15–20 years of experience, including 10\+ years in Data Centre/Critical Facilities, with strong exposure to Tier III/IV environments, 20MW\+ facilities, MEP, BMS, EHS, security, commissioning, compliance, vendor management and 24×7 operations
