Build and operationalize Fynd’s AI\-native intelligence layer for Autonomous Commerce so that Fynd One/Optimus becomes the default, trusted interface across commerce workflows—driving measurable gains in automation coverage, customer adoption, speed of execution, and commercial outcomes while maintaining strong guardrails, reliability, and human\-in\-the\-loop controls.

• *Responsibilities**
• -------------------

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Fynd’s commerce intelligence and autonomy layer across products and workflows.
• Drive the evolution of Fynd One/Optimus into the default interface for commerce operations, reducing friction across merchant and internal user journeys.
• Design and scale agentic systems for commerce use cases, including task orchestration, routing, memory, planning, and tool use.
• Build production\-grade evaluation frameworks for LLM and agent quality, including offline/online evaluation, regression testing, and benchmark design.
• Establish guardrails, policy controls, and human\-in\-the\-loop workflows to ensure safe, accurate, and commercially sound autonomous actions.
• Lead observability initiatives for AI systems, including tracing, monitoring, failure analysis, drift detection, and incident response.
• Partner with product, engineering, data, design, and business teams to identify high\-value automation opportunities and convert them into shipped outcomes.
• Define and measure the commercial impact of AI initiatives, ensuring autonomous features improve efficiency, conversion, retention, or operational scale.
• Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary team spanning AI/ML, platform engineering, evaluation, and product execution.
• Create a strong AI\-first UX vision that shifts workflows from manual interaction to intent\-driven, intelligent, and proactive experiences.
• Set technical standards for MLOps, release management, model lifecycle governance, and production readiness for AI\-powered commerce systems.
• Communicate clearly in writing and lead through high\-ownership decision\-making in a fast\-paced, ambiguous environment.
• *Qualifications**

### **Required**

• 10\+ years of overall experience in engineering, AI/ML, product engineering, or platform leadership roles
• Proven experience leading production AI or ML systems in a customer\-facing environment
• Demonstrated ownership of roadmap, execution, and business impact for complex technical products
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, agent orchestration, evaluation, and observability in production settings
• Track record of leading cross\-functional teams and influencing product, design, and business stakeholders
• Strong written communication skills and ability to produce clear technical and strategic documentation
• Experience working in fast\-moving, high\-accountability environments

### **Preferred**

• Experience in commerce, retail tech, marketplace, supply chain, or fintech platforms
• Experience building autonomous workflows, recommendation systems, or decisioning systems at scale
• Exposure to AI\-first UX or product paradigm shifts
• Experience with model risk management, safety systems, or human\-in\-the\-loop review frameworks
• Experience leading teams across ML engineering, backend engineering, and product strategy
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• Master’s degree or equivalent advanced study in AI/ML, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Certifications in cloud, MLOps, AI engineering, or LLM\-related technologies are a plus
