Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Agentforce Developer to design, develop, and implement AI\-powered solutions on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will combine strong Salesforce development expertise with hands\-on experience building intelligent AI agents using Salesforce Agentforce and related Einstein AI capabilities.

The candidate will develop agent\-driven workflows, custom actions, integrations, and AI\-powered business processes to enhance customer and employee experiences. This role requires practical development experience across Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, APIs, and Salesforce AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• *Salesforce Agentforce Development**

• Design, configure, and implement AI agents using Agentforce Builder, including topics, instructions, actions, and agent configurations.
• Develop custom Agentforce actions using Apex, Salesforce Flow, and REST APIs to execute business operations.
• Configure and optimize agent behavior, validate responses, and troubleshoot issues related to agent execution and business outcomes.
• Build prompt templates using Prompt Builder and implement AI\-powered business processes.
• Integrate Salesforce Agentforce with Knowledge, Data Cloud, and other Salesforce applications.

• *Salesforce Platform Development**

• Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, SOQL, and SOSL.
• Implement asynchronous processing and event\-driven integrations using Platform Events and appropriate Salesforce automation capabilities.
• Develop reusable components, business logic, and scalable solutions following Salesforce development best practices.
• Implement Salesforce security controls, including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and object\- and field\-level security.

• *Integration and Data Management**

• Design and implement integrations between Salesforce, Agentforce, and third\-party applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and middleware platforms.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth.
• Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud and relevant enterprise data sources to support AI\-powered business use cases.
• Support data modeling, data integration, and knowledge retrieval requirements for AI\-enabled applications.

• *Testing, Deployment, and Support**

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot issues involving Apex, Flow, integrations, agent execution, and AI\-generated responses.
• Participate in CI/CD, deployment, release management, and production support activities.
• Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, product owners, Salesforce administrators, and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Follow Salesforce architecture, governance, security, and performance standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 4–8 years of Salesforce development experience.
• Hands\-on experience implementing Salesforce Agentforce and/or Einstein AI capabilities.
• Strong development experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, SOQL, and SOSL.
• Practical understanding of Agentforce agents, topics, instructions, actions, and Prompt Builder.
• Experience developing custom actions and integrating Salesforce with external applications.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP APIs, OAuth, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, and data access controls.
• Exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud, Knowledge, and AI\-powered business workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem\-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing Agentforce solutions in production environments.
• Knowledge of Retrieval\-Augmented Generation (RAG) and enterprise knowledge retrieval.
• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and AI\-powered customer experiences.
• Exposure to JavaScript or Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Salesforce DevOps tools.
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, or Health Cloud.
• Experience working on enterprise Salesforce implementations.
