Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong hands\-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, React, and TypeScript to develop and modernize enterprise web applications.

The role involves working on an established Java EE and Oracle\-based platform that supports real estate and workplace management solutions. You will help transition legacy user interfaces to modern React applications while building and maintaining Java services and APIs.

You will be responsible for delivering features independently, maintaining production quality, troubleshooting issues, and using AI coding tools effectively throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• *Full\-Stack Development**

• Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Java EE.
• Build responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Work with relational databases, write SQL queries, and troubleshoot data\-related issues.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and ensure reliable end\-to\-end functionality.

• *Legacy Modernization**

• Modernize existing enterprise applications by replacing legacy JSF/Oracle ADF screens with React\-based interfaces.
• Maintain and enhance existing Java EE applications while supporting the transition to modern architectures.
• Contribute to clean API design, reusable components, and maintainable application code.

• *Feature Ownership and Quality**

• Own features from requirement analysis and task breakdown through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Identify technical blockers, troubleshoot defects, and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.
• Support production applications, including on\-call responsibilities where required.

• *AI\-Assisted Engineering**

• Use AI coding tools for development, testing, debugging, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Integrate LLM APIs into applications where required.
• Evaluate AI\-generated code critically, validate its correctness, and follow established security and quality standards.

• *Collaboration and Technical Contribution**

• Collaborate with Product, QA, Design, and Engineering teams to clarify requirements and deliver expected outcomes.
• Communicate technical decisions, assumptions, and implementation approaches clearly.
• Contribute to design discussions and technical documentation.
• Support onboarding and knowledge sharing with other engineers.

Required Experience and Technical Expertise

• 4–6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands\-on experience with Java, including Java EE and/or Spring Boot.
• Production experience building frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs, relational databases, and SQL.
• Experience delivering features independently in production applications.
• Practical use of AI coding assistants for development and debugging.
• Understanding of software testing, code quality, application security, and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to work across legacy applications and modern application components.

Good to Have

• Experience with Oracle Database.
• Exposure to Oracle ADF, JSF, or other server\-rendered Java UI frameworks.
• Experience with shared UI component libraries or design systems.
• AWS or other cloud platform exposure.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs into software applications.
• Domain exposure to real estate, facilities management, maintenance, or workplace
