We are looking for an experienced **HL7 Integration Specialist** with strong hands\-on expertise in **Mirth (NextGen) Connect** to join our Healthcare Integration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining healthcare interoperability solutions that enable seamless data exchange between clinical systems.

• *Key Responsibilities**

· Design, develop, configure, and maintain healthcare integration interfaces using **Mirth (NextGen) Connect**.

· Develop and support **HL7 v2\.x, HL7 v3, and FHIR** interfaces for healthcare applications including **EMR/EHR, HIS, LIS, RIS, PACS**, and other clinical systems.

· Build and maintain message transformations, mappings, routing rules, filters, and channels within Mirth Connect.

· Collaborate with business users, implementation teams, and clients to gather integration requirements and deliver reliable interoperability solutions.

· Troubleshoot interface issues, monitor message processing, and resolve production incidents with minimal downtime.

· Optimize Mirth Connect performance, scalability, and reliability while ensuring secure healthcare data exchange.

· Develop and consume **REST/SOAP APIs** and integrate healthcare applications with third\-party systems.

· Ensure compliance with healthcare interoperability and security standards, including **HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, IHE, CCD, and CDA**.

· Prepare and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, deployment guides, and support documents.

· Participate in testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement of integration solutions.

• *Required Qualifications**

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

· **Minimum 5 years of hands\-on experience** in **HL7 integration** and **Mirth (NextGen) Connect**.

· Strong expertise in **HL7 v2\.x** messaging, including **ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, MDM**, and other healthcare message types.

· Good understanding of **FHIR** resources and healthcare interoperability standards.

· Experience integrating **EMR/EHR, HIS, LIS, RIS, PACS**, or other healthcare systems.

· Strong knowledge of **JavaScript**, **Java**, **SQL**, or **Groovy** for Mirth channel development and message transformation.

· Experience working with **XML, JSON, XSLT**, REST APIs, and SOAP web services.

· Strong troubleshooting skills in message mapping, routing, validation, and debugging.

· Familiarity with relational databases such as **MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle**.

· Experience with **Git** or other version control systems is an added advantage.

· Experience working on enterprise healthcare integration projects.

· Knowledge of cloud\-based healthcare integration platforms.

· Understanding of secure healthcare data exchange, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.

· Experience supporting production healthcare interfaces and high\-availability environments.
