The HR assistant duties involve a wide range of support activities inside our HR department, from coordinating meetings to maintaining our employee database to posting job ads. An important part of your role will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.
Role and Responsibilities
o Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
o **Factory visit at Bhiwandi Location twice in a month.**
o Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
o Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
o Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
o Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
o Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
o Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, leaves, etc)
o Communicate with public services when necessary
o Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
o Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
o Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
o Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database
o Preparing Staff Handbook.
o Developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management.
o Helping the accounts department in issues related to attendance record keeping, administering payroll and maintaining employee records.
o Communicate company policies and terms of the contract to the candidate before he is hired.
o Posting job ads and organizing resumes and job applications
o Scheduling job interviews and assisting in interview process
o Ensuring background and reference checks are completed
o Preparing new employee files
o Collect the mandatory documents from the new recruit.
o Introducing the new employee to his/her manager and team.
o Serving as a point person for all new employee questions.
