HR Intern

• *About us**

Indinom Foods runs Burger or Chai (BoC), a fast\-growing Mumbai QSR brand spread across 10 \+ cities and growing.

• *The role**

You will keep our cafes staffed. Your day is mostly phone calls, screening and closing hires. The rest is core HR work.

• *What you'll do**

• Hiring for cafe roles*

• Source and call candidates for cafe roles: crew, cashiers, kitchen staff, baristas and outlet managers.
• Sourcing channels include job portals (Apna, WorkIndia, Naukri), referrals, WhatsApp groups and walk\-ins.
• Screen candidates on the phone, schedule interviews and coordinate with outlet managers.
• Follow up until the candidate actually joins: offer, documents, first day.
• Keep the hiring tracker up to date every day: calls made, candidates shortlisted, interviews held, joinings.
• Build a ready pool of candidates for upcoming outlet launches.

• HR operations*

• Onboarding: collect documents and complete joining formalities.
• Maintain attendance and leave records.
• Keep employee files and the database current.
• Support payroll inputs and exit formalities.
• Help with staff engagement and retention check\-ins.

• *Who we're looking for**

• Comfortable spending most of the day on the phone and good at it. Hindi and Marathi are a must; English is a plus.
• Persistent and organised, and you follow up until the hire is closed.
• Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets.
• **Trainee:** a graduate, 0–1 year of experience. An MBA/BBA in HR is a plus but not required.
• **Intern:** a final\-year student or recent graduate available for 3–6 months, full\-time.
