Job Summary
The HR Manager is responsible for managing the complete Human Resources function of a commercial vehicle dealership, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, performance management, and workforce planning across sales, service, workshop, spares, logistics, and administrative departments. The role ensures smooth manpower operations and compliance with labor laws while supporting dealership business targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment \& Manpower Planning
* Handle end\-to\-end recruitment for
- Sales executives
- Service advisors
- Technicians
- Drivers
- Workshop staff
- Accounts \& admin staff
- Coordinate onboarding, induction, and joining formalities.
- Maintain manpower budgets and staffing plans for workshop and showroom operations.
Payroll \& HR Operations
- Monitor attendance, leave records, overtime, and shift scheduling.
- Coordinate payroll processing, incentives, commissions, and statutory deductions.
- Maintain employee records and HRMIS reports.
- Manage employee confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits.
Statutory Compliance
* Ensure compliance with
- PF
- ESIC
- Bonus
- Gratuity
- Shops \& Establishment Act
- Factory Act
- CLRA regulations
- Coordinate labor inspections and statutory audits.
- Maintain HR policies and SOP documentation.
Employee Relations \& Engagement
- Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct employee engagement activities and welfare programs.
- Support attrition control and retention initiatives.
- Maintain healthy industrial relations within workshop and field operations.
Performance Management \& Training
* Implement KPI\-based performance systems linked to
- Sales targets
- Workshop productivity
- Service quality
- Coordinate OEM training programs and technical certifications.
- Support succession planning and leadership development.
Administration \& Coordination
- Coordinate with department heads for workforce requirements.
- Manage housekeeping, security, transport, and facility support where applicable.
- Support dealership audits and OEM HR compliance reviews.
- Liaise with external vendors and government authorities.

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in HR or Human Resource Management
- 5–10 years HR experience
- Automobile or commercial vehicle dealership experience preferred
- Knowledge of workshop/service operations is an advantage.
