Job Summary
The HR Manager will be responsible for managing all Human Resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, training \& development, and HR administration. The role requires ensuring compliance with labor laws and supporting organizational growth within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1\. Recruitment \& Talent Acquisition
- Manage end\-to\-end recruitment for all departments.
- Coordinate with department heads to identify manpower requirements.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates.
- Ensure timely onboarding and induction of new employees.
2\. Employee Relations
- Maintain positive employee relations and a healthy work environment.
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Conduct employee engagement and retention activities.
3\. Performance Management
- Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems.
- Support managers in setting KPIs and performance goals.
- Identify training and development needs based on performance reviews.
4\. Payroll \& Compensation
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing.
- Monitor attendance, leave management, and overtime records.
- Ensure accuracy in salary processing and statutory deductions.
5\. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Manage PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Gratuity, Bonus, and other statutory obligations.
- Handle labor inspections and maintain required records.
6\. Training \& Development
- Identify employee training needs.
- Organize technical, behavioral, and compliance\-related training programs.
- Maintain training records as per company and regulatory requirements.
7\. HR Operations \& Administration
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Generate HR reports and MIS for management review.
8\. Compliance \& Audit Support
- Ensure HR compliance with GMP, GDP, and company policies.
- Support internal, external, and regulatory audits.
- Maintain HR\-related documentation for audits and inspections.
Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Experience
- 8–12 years of HR experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- Experience handling plant HR operations and statutory compliance.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Experience in recruitment, payroll, and employee relations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRMS and MS Office.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
