Job Summary
The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, compliance, policy implementation, and workforce planning. The role ensures that HR strategies align with organizational goals while fostering a positive, productive, and legally compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities1\. Talent Acquisition \& Workforce Planning
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract high\-quality talent.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing requirements.
- Manage the end\-to\-end recruitment process:
- Job requisition approval
- Job posting
- Candidate sourcing
- Screening and interviewing
- Offer management
- Onboarding
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
- Monitor recruitment metrics such as:
- Time\-to\-fill
- Cost\-per\-hire
- Quality of hire
- Offer acceptance rate
- Coordinate with recruitment agencies and external hiring partners.
2\. Employee Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
- Conduct investigations into workplace complaints and disciplinary matters.
- Provide guidance to managers on employee\-related issues.
- Manage conflict resolution and mediation processes.
- Ensure fair and consistent application of company policies.
3\. Performance Management
- Design and administer performance appraisal systems.
- Support managers in goal setting and performance reviews.
- Track employee performance and development plans.
- Identify high\-potential employees and succession planning opportunities.
- Address performance improvement needs through coaching and corrective action plans.
- Analyze performance trends and provide recommendations to leadership.
4\. Compensation \& Benefits Administration
- Manage salary structures, incentive plans, and benefits programs.
- Conduct compensation benchmarking and market analysis.
- Administer annual salary reviews, bonuses, and promotions.
- Coordinate employee insurance and wellness programs.
- Ensure payroll inputs are accurate and submitted on time.
- Recommend competitive compensation strategies to attract and retain talent.
5\. Learning \& Development
- Assess organizational training needs.
- Develop and implement learning and development programs.
- Coordinate leadership development initiatives.
- Manage employee orientation and onboarding programs.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and ROI.
- Promote continuous learning and professional growth.
6\. HR Policies \& Compliance
- Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment regulations.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Conduct HR audits and risk assessments.
- Support compliance with workplace safety regulations.
- Ensure adherence to company code of conduct and ethical standards.
7\. Employee Engagement \& Culture
- Design employee engagement initiatives.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and analyze feedback.
- Organize recognition and reward programs.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Plan employee events and team\-building activities.
- Promote organizational values and culture.
8\. HR Operations \& HRIS Management
- Manage HR systems and employee databases.
- Generate HR reports and dashboards.
- Monitor HR KPIs and workforce analytics.
- Improve HR processes through automation and technology.
- Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and security.
- Manage employee lifecycle processes from onboarding to offboarding.
9\. Strategic HR Leadership
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational design.
- Support change management initiatives.
- Develop HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze workforce trends and provide strategic recommendations.
- Participate in budget planning and HR forecasting.
- Drive organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Required QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- Master's degree/MBA in Human Resources preferred.
Experience
- 5–10\+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Minimum 2–5 years in an HR Manager or HR Business Partner role.
- Experience handling multiple HR functions across the employee lifecycle.
