The HR Services Specialist – Oracle Journeys SME is a permanent, global\-scope role responsible for driving the successful end\-to\-end implementation of Oracle Journeys for Preboarding, Onboarding, and Offboarding processes. This individual serves as the critical bridge between the HR Services community and the internal HRIS team, ensuring that business requirements from all countries and regions are accurately captured, validated, documented, and delivered.
This role is a trusted subject matter expert and Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the HR community throughout the project lifecycle. Upon go\-live, the role transitions seamlessly into BAU ownership — maintaining journey process documentation, and driving continuous improvement of the employee lifecycle experience within Oracle HCM.
- *Oracle Journeys Implementation (Project Phase)**
- Serve as the global Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle Journeys (Preboarding, Onboarding, and Offboarding), representing the HR Services community throughout the implementation.
- Partner closely with the internal HRIS team to bridge HR community business requirements into clear, actionable technical development specifications.
- Gather, document, and validate detailed requirements from all countries and business units, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Represent country and business stakeholders in requirement validation sessions with the HRIS team; obtain required sign\-off at each milestone.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive business process documentation and process maps for each country/region within scope.
- Create country\-specific user manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Oracle Journey processes.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across all regions, ensuring issues are tracked and resolved prior to sign\-off.
- Coordinate final sign\-off from country and business stakeholders upon successful UAT completion.
Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all HR community inquiries, issues, and questions relating to Oracle Journeys during the project phase.
- *Post Go\-Live / BAU Ownership**
- Assume BAU ownership of Oracle Journeys post\-implementation, including ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of journey configurations in partnership with the HRIS team.
- Manage updates to SOPs, process maps, and user manuals as processes evolve or new requirements emerge.
- Support new country rollouts and journey enhancements as the organization expands its Oracle Journeys footprint.
- Monitor journey performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and process efficiency.
Serve as the ongoing SME and SPOC for the HR community on all Preboarding, Onboarding, and Offboarding journey inquiries and issue resolution.
- Execute adhoc data management activities within Oracle HCM, including mass uploads and bulk data corrections.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all Oracle HCM data management activities, adhering to established data governance standards and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with the HRIS team and HR community to resolve data discrepancies and support data quality initiatives.
