  • Develop and review flushing procedures, pressure\-test procedures, functional test plans, inspection checklists, FAT/SAT documents and commissioning procedures.
  • Witness and support hydraulic power\-unit and equipment testing; analyze pressure, flow, temperature, leakage, response time and performance data against acceptance criteria.
  • Troubleshoot low pressure, unstable pressure, low or excessive flow, overheating, cavitation, aeration, abnormal noise, internal leakage, cylinder drift, slow movement, hunting and premature component failure.
  • Lead structured root\-cause analysis for test\-bay, commissioning and field failures and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct technical discussions with customers, suppliers, classification bodies and internal stakeholders and close hydraulic design comments or deviations.
  • Prepare engineering change notices and maintain drawing revisions, design calculations, technical files, lessons learned and configuration records.
  • Identify opportunities for reliability improvement, energy efficiency, cost reduction, standardization and modular hydraulic power\-unit design.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers, technicians, assemblers and service personnel on hydraulic systems and troubleshooting.
  • Support site commissioning and field\-service activities, including preparation of diagnostic plans and recommendations for permanent corrective action.
  • *Minimum Qualifications \& Experience**

========================================

  • E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in hydraulic system engineering, circuit design, application engineering, product development, testing, commissioning or troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated hands\-on experience with industrial hydraulic equipment, hydraulic power units and complex machine circuits.
  • Experience converting functional requirements into safe, practical and manufacturable hydraulic designs.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare technical reports and explain design decisions to cross\-functional teams.
  • *Required Skills and Technical Competencies**
