Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced IBM AIX SME / Consultant with strong hands\-on expertise in IBM AIX administration, IBM

Power Systems, PowerVM virtualization, high availability, patching, performance management, OS upgrades and complex

troubleshooting. The role requires a hands\-on technical professional who can independently support enterprise AIX environments,

lead technical resolution of critical issues, execute major infrastructure changes, and contribute to automation and modernization

initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

 Administer, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise IBM AIX environments, including core OS, LVM, file systems, devices, users,

networking and services.

 Manage IBM Power Systems environments across Power9, Power10 and Power11 platforms.

 Administer IBM PowerVM components including LPAR, VIOS and NIM, and manage virtualized compute, network and storage

resources.

 Configure, administer and troubleshoot HACMP / PowerHA clusters, including high\-availability and failover scenarios.

 Plan and execute AIX patching, Technology Level / Service Pack updates, maintenance activities and OS upgrades with

appropriate validation and rollback planning.

 Monitor and tune system performance across CPU, memory, storage and I/O; support capacity planning and performance

optimization.

 Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis and resolution of complex production issues, including critical incidents.

 Plan and support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, lifecycle activities and major technical changes.

 Collaborate with Network, SAN/Storage, Backup, Security, Virtualization, Application and OEM/vendor teams to resolve cross\-

platform issues.

 Drive operational automation using Bash/Shell, Python and/or Ansible, and maintain SOPs, runbooks and technical

documentation.

 Provide technical guidance and mentoring to operations teams and contribute to architecture, resiliency and modernization

reviews.

Pay: ₹626,000\.00 \- ₹3,000,000\.00 per year
