• *Role Overview**

The Implementation Consultant (IC) turns client requirements into a working, tested and documented Gotransverse configuration with speed and precision. The IC works alongside the Executive Sponsor, Project Manager, Business Analyst, Solution Architect and QA to translate business requirements into platform configuration, support testing and reconciliation, and ensure successful implementation and handover.

The role combines billing domain knowledge, hands\-on platform skills, analytical thinking and client\-facing communication to deliver accurate and reliable configurations.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• *1\. Discovery \& Requirements**
• Run working sessions with clients and translate contract terms and business scenarios into configurable requirements.
• Ask clarifying questions to understand the business need behind client requests.
• Challenge unclear requirements and recommend best practices.
• Ensure requirements are traceable to corresponding build elements.
• Understand design specifications to determine implementation next steps.

• *2\. Platform Configuration \& Build**
• Configure the catalog, charges, lookup tables, custom fields, SRIDs, mediation streams and integrations.
• Translate documented requirements into accurate Gotransverse configurations.
• Validate configuration changes and check work before handing it off.
• Ensure configuration and runbook documentation remain current as the build changes.

• *3\. Testing \& Reconciliation**
• Write and execute test cases.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing after changes.
• Reconcile system output against source data and client expectations.
• Investigate and explain variances between system output and source data.
• Triage defects and distinguish data issues, configuration gaps, new requirements and product bugs.

• *4\. Demo Preparation \& Execution**
• Prepare and conduct client demonstrations.
• Tailor demo scripts to the audience.
• Stage clean demo data and dry\-run end\-to\-end scenarios.
• Capture feedback, document follow\-ups and communicate next steps.

• *5\. Cutover, Go\-Live \& Handover**
• Support cutover, go\-live and hypercare activities.
• Contribute to migration, parallel\-run and rollback planning.
• Maintain relevant configuration and runbook documentation.
• Ensure a clean transition to support and Customer Success teams.

• *6\. Client \& Internal Communication**
• Provide clear and organized updates to clients and internal teams.
• Adjust communication for executive and technical audiences.
• Escalate risks and issues early.
• Work closely with the Executive Sponsor, Project Manager, Business Analyst, Solution Architect and QA.

• *Required Technical Skills \& Competencies**
• *Core Technical Skills**
• Strong SQL skills to query and validate data independently and reconcile counts and totals.
• Understanding of JSON and APIs, including building payloads, authentication, error handling and pagination.
• Data analysis skills, including Excel pivots, lookups, identifying outliers and explaining variances.
• Ability to work with configuration data and validate system outputs against source data.

• *Delivery \& Implementation**
• Understanding of requirements traceability and the ability to map requirements to configuration elements.
• Ability to write test cases, execute UAT and regression testing, and reconcile outputs with source data.
• Understanding of defect triage and the ability to distinguish data issues, configuration gaps, new requirements and product bugs.
• Familiarity with cutover, go\-live, migration, parallel runs, rollback planning and hypercare.
