Industrial Design Engineer

• *Position Summary:** Prepare customer presentations that include detailed conceptual, plan and cross sectional drawings of customer’s store concepts. Support sales force and customers by creating innovative, cost effective solutions to their custom product requests.

• *Formal Education Requirement:**

• **Required Level:** Bachelors Degree Masters Degree **,** Product Development Experience
• **Minimum Years of Experience Necessary:** 2 – 5yrs

• *Principal Responsibilities:**

• *1\. Customer Needs Understanding:** Prepare customer presentations and drawing packages that include detailed conceptual drawings and renderings as well as supporting visual information including appropriate orthogonal drawing views of customer’s store and case concepts utilizing the appropriate 2D and 3D CAD modeling, rendering and/or graphic editing programs.

• *2\. Customer Needs Understanding:** Customers’ product requirements are translated by others’ input, \& feedback to identify and illustrate current and new products that meet and exceed these customer requirements.

• *3\. Product Management:** Provide visual support documents to the engineering \& sales organization within the specified product development processes with greater than moderate oversight . Understands the stated needs of the Customer and selects the correct case application and/or basic construction technique with greater than moderate oversight.

• *4\. Product Management:** Support product management activities that stimulate the development and introduction of new products. Simple to moderately complex new case iterations or designs require greater than moderate oversight.

• *5\. Communication skills:** Drives projects from India by interacting and discussing with Field Engineers, Marketing Team and Industrial Design Team. Excellent written and Oral communication to meet end customer expectations.

• *6\. Engineering Support:** Supports the Chino case manufacturing operation by working on COD, NPD and Sustenance requirements If needed. Have General awareness of the cases and manufacturing processes in the Specialty group.

• *Additional Information:**

• Associates or Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design (Industrial Design), or equivalent
• Product Development experience. Portfolio of personal work or equivalent required.
• Experience in 2D \& 3D Cad Modeling programs. Ability to create 3D renderings of products
• Rendering program and/or Photoshop experience are beneficial.
• Analytical thinker.
• Very good communicator, collaborator and organizer.
• Fluency in English, any additional languages (preferably Spanish) is an asset.
• Strong computer skills.
• Able to contribute to regular Concept Group support tasks.
• Able to self\-manage short term drawing package projects or drawing maintenance projects.
• Able \& willing to travel if required.

Pay: Up to ₹600,000\.00 per year
