We are looking for a versatile Infrastructure Engineer to manage the full lifecycle of our
technology stack. In this role, you will be the bridge between our physical hardware and our
cloud presence. You will ensure that our on\-premise servers, networking gear, and storage
systems are performant and secure, while simultaneously managing, scaling, and optimizing
our cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, and Digital Ocean).
1\. Hardware \& On\-Premise Maintenance
● Installation \& Configuration: Rack, stack, cable, and configure physical servers,switches, firewalls, and UPS systems.
● Hardware Lifecycle: Perform regular hardware audits, firmware updates, and component replacements (RAM, drives, CPUs).
● Data Center Management: Monitor power consumption, cooling efficiency, and physical security of server rooms or colocation spaces.
● Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve physical layer issues and hardware failures with minimal downtime.
● Cloud Administration: Manage cloud resources, including VPCs, EC2 instances, S3buckets, and IAM roles.
● Virtualization: Maintain and optimize virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper\-V, or KVM).
● Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud spend and implement rightsizing strategies to ensure budget efficiency.
● Hybrid Connectivity: Maintain Site\-to\-Site VPNs or Direct Connect/ExpressRoute links between on\-prem hardware and cloud providers.
● System Health: Implement and maintain monitoring tools to track uptime and performance.
● Backups \& DR: Execute robust backup strategies and Disaster Recovery (DR) drills for both physical and cloud data.
● Security Patching: Ensure all systems (OS and Firmware) are patched agains
● Degree: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
● Certifications: CompTIA Server\+, AWS SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator (AZ\-104\), or CCNA.
● Mindset: A "safety\-first" approach to hardware and a "cloud\-first" approach to scalability.
● Availability: Ability to participate in an on\-call rotation and perform occasional after\-hours maintenance.
