Integration Migration Lead

##### **Project description**

We are seeking a hands\-on Apache Camel Developer to build and deliver integration solutions as part of a Proof of Concept (POC) migrating existing TIBCO BW 5\.x integrations to Apache Camel. The primary focus is strong development capability in Apache Camel, with TIBCO BW 5\.x experience considered a valuable addition.

##### **Responsibilities**

Develop, test, and deliver Apache Camel integration routes and components for the POC

Translate existing TIBCO BW 5\.x integration logic into Apache Camel equivalents

Build reusable integration patterns, templates, and components in Apache Camel

Validate the migration approach through working code and technical proof points

Collaborate with the Integration Lead/Architect on target architecture and standards

Identify technical challenges, dependencies, and risks during hands\-on development

Ensure code quality, unit testing, and adherence to best practices

Contribute to documentation of migration patterns, design decisions, and technical approach

Support performance and resilience testing of migrated integrations

Provide input to POC outcomes and recommendations based on development findings

Must\-Have Skills

Strong hands\-on development experience with Apache Camel (routing, EIPs, components, error handling)

Java/Spring Boot development (Apache Camel typically runs on this stack)

Experience building integration solutions (REST, SOAP, messaging — JMS/Kafka/ActiveMQ)

Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIPs)

Unit and integration testing frameworks

Version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

Nice\-to\-Have Skills

TIBCO BW 5\.x development experience (understanding of existing integrations to be migrated)

Experience with migration/re\-platforming projects

Familiarity with containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) for deployment

Knowledge of API management and security patterns

Reports to the Integration Lead/Architect during the POC phase

Bangalore, India (as per Beeline requirement)

##### **Skills**

Must have

Strong hands‑on experience with Apache Camel

Solid expertise in Apache Camel, including routing, mediation, and component usage

Good to have experience with TIBCO 5\.x (BW, EMS, adapters)

Proven experience in integration migration projects, preferably off legacy middleware

Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns (EIP)

Experience designing and validating target integration architectures

Proficiency in Java and related integration frameworks

Experience with REST/SOAP services, messaging, and asynchronous integrations

Strong understanding of non‑functional requirements (performance, resilience, security, scalability)

Ability to lead POC initiatives and translate outcomes into full‑scale delivery plans

Strong stakeholder communication skills, bridging technical and non‑technical audiences

Experience producing architecture documentation, migration strategies, and estimates

Nice to have

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Experience with event‑driven architectures and streaming platforms

Prior work within financial services or regulated environments

Exposure to other integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Spring Integration)
