IT Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• *1\. IT Infrastructure \& Network Management**

• Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi\-Fi, routers, switches, internet connectivity, and other networking infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues across offices and factory units.
• Ensure reliable and uninterrupted IT infrastructure operations.

• *2\. IT Hardware \& Asset Management**

• Manage desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, biometric devices, CCTV\-related IT connectivity, and other IT equipment.
• Handle installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, and repair of IT hardware.
• Maintain an updated IT asset inventory, including asset allocation, movement, repair history, and replacements.
• Ensure proper tracking and utilisation of IT assets across both organisations.

• *3\. Employee IT Support \& Troubleshooting**

• Provide first\-level and second\-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, email, network, printer, and system\-related issues.
• Resolve IT support tickets and service requests within defined turnaround times.
• Support onboarding and exit formalities, including system allocation, user account creation, access changes, and asset recovery.
• Assist employees with software installation, system configuration, access issues, and routine technical queries.

• *4\. Data Security \& Access Management**

• Implement and monitor IT security practices, including antivirus, endpoint protection, system updates, backups, and access controls.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.
• Support data backup and recovery processes and help prevent unauthorised access or data loss.
• Ensure secure handling of company information and compliance with internal IT policies.

• *5\. Software, Applications \& IT Operations**

• Support the functioning of business applications, email systems, HRMS, ERP, and other company\-used software.
• Coordinate with software providers for troubleshooting, upgrades, configuration, and issue resolution.
• Maintain documentation of IT processes, recurring issues, system configurations, and resolutions.

• *6\. Vendor Management \& Commercial Negotiation**

• Coordinate with internet service providers, hardware suppliers, software vendors, and IT service partners.
• Obtain quotations, compare proposals, negotiate pricing, and recommend cost\-effective solutions.
• Monitor vendor performance, service quality, response times, and closure of pending issues.
• Track AMC renewals, warranties, service contracts, and vendor invoices.

• *7\. Factory IT Support \& Travel**

• Provide on\-site IT support across Candor Foods and Handful of Health facilities in the Koparkhairane area.
• Travel between company factories and offices located within an approximate **1 km radius** as required.
• Ensure timely resolution of IT infrastructure and employee support issues at all locations.

• *8\. Reporting \& Continuous Improvement**

• Maintain records of IT issues, resolution timelines, hardware repairs, asset utilisation, and vendor performance.
• Identify recurring technical problems and recommend preventive measures.
• Support IT budgeting, cost optimisation, infrastructure upgrades, and technology improvements.

Pay: ₹40,000\.00 \- ₹50,000\.00 per month
