Job Summary
The IT Field Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, promoting IT products and services, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory. The role involves meeting potential and existing customers, understanding their technology requirements, presenting suitable IT solutions, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through field visits, networking, referrals, and lead generation activities.
- Meet prospective clients to understand their IT infrastructure and business requirements.
- Promote and sell IT products and services such as hardware, software, cloud solutions, cybersecurity services, networking solutions, managed services, and annual maintenance contracts (AMCs).
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for customers.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales agreements.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales successfully.
- Build and maintain long\-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Coordinate with technical and support teams to ensure smooth implementation of solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in CRM systems.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to generate business opportunities.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections from customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in IT sales, B2B sales, or technology solution sales.
- Freshers with strong communication and sales aptitude may also be considered for entry\-level positions.

- Fixed salary.
