We’re looking for a Japanese Language Expert on a contractual basis (6 months to start with) to join our team and contribute to a cutting\-edge voice assistant project.

• *Start Date:** Late July to early August

• *Availability:** Full\-time (8 hours/day)

• *Location:** Remote (Work from home)

### **What You’ll Do:**

• Enhance NLP components with linguistic expertise in Japanese grammar, sentence formation, and culturally relevant expressions.
• Curate and annotate Japanese datasets for training speech recognition models.
• Analyze audio samples to provide feedback on accent, tone, and intent.
• Conduct quality checks to resolve language\-specific issues.

### **What We’re Looking For:**

• Native proficiency in Japanese, with strong English communication skills.
• Expertise in Japanese grammar, sentence structure, and cultural nuances, with a focus on computational linguistics.
• Experience in automatic speech recognition (ASR) and collaborating with data scientists or ML engineers.
