We’re looking for an experienced Senior Backend Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, MySQL, and Kubernetes to join our engineering team in Mohali.

Role: Senior Backend Java Developer

Location: Mohali, India

Work Mode: Full\-time, Work from Office (On\-site)

Time Zone: JST (Japan Standard Time)

What You’ll Do

Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs and Java/Spring Boot microservices.

Take end\-to\-end ownership of assigned microservices and existing business logic.

Build and manage Kafka producers and consumers for notification and event\-driven workflows.

Integrate applications with external systems, including BSS, ASM, ATG, Firebase/FCM, and other services.

Work with MySQL to optimize queries, transactions, indexing, and database performance.

Manage deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.

Write unit, integration, and regression tests to ensure reliable software delivery.

Troubleshoot production issues, support escalations, and improve application reliability.

Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical documentation.

Mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross\-functional teams.

What We’re Looking For

✅ 5\+ years of backend development experience

✅ Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot

✅ Hands\-on experience with Apache Kafka and event\-driven architecture

✅ Solid knowledge of MySQL and database performance optimization

✅ Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm

✅ Strong understanding of REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, JWT, and OAuth2

✅ Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD

✅ Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum, and automated testing frameworks

Good to Have: Spring Cloud, HashiCorp Vault, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Loki, distributed tracing, and telecom BSS/OSS domain experience.
