Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer with strong experience in building scalable, cloud\-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or AWS. The ideal candidate will design and implement backend services in Java, develop user\-facing features, and collaborate with cross\-functional teams to deliver robust, secure, and high\-performance software.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot following microservices architecture.
Create and consume RESTful APIs and ensure high performance and responsiveness.
Implement data persistence using SQL and NoSQL databases and optimize database interactions.
Deploy, manage, and monitor applications in cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform or AWS) and implement infrastructure\-as\-code where applicable.
Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate testing and deployment processes.
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to define and ship new features.
Perform code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and enforce best practices for coding, testing, and security.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long\-term fixes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience developing backend systems in Java and using frameworks such as Spring Boot.
Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or AWS, including deployment and operational best practices.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and distributed system patterns.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, automated testing frameworks, and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
Solid knowledge of software engineering best practices, version control with Git, and agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem\-solving skills and strong communication abilities.
