Job Role: Content Writer (Fresher)

• *Job Role: Content Writer (Fresher) Experience: 0–1 year (freshers and interns are welcome to apply)**

• *Role Objective**

To write clear, engaging, and brand\-aligned content for Orestes Technologies and its clients across social media, websites, blogs, and ad campaigns. The role supports the social media, SEO, and PPC teams with on\-time, good\-quality written content, while the writer builds their skills in digital marketing writing.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• *1\. Social Media Content Writing**

• Write captions, hashtags, and post copy for client and Orestes social media pages, following the monthly content calendar.
• Write the on\-creative text for static posts, carousels, and reels (hooks, headlines, CTAs).
• Write short scripts and voiceover text for reels and short videos.
• Adapt the tone and messaging to each client’s brand voice and target audience.

• *2\. Website \& Blog Content**

• Write SEO\-friendly blogs, articles, and website page content from the briefs and keywords provided.
• Use keywords naturally and follow basic on\-page SEO practices (headings, meta titles, meta descriptions).
• Research topics thoroughly so that the content is accurate, original, and useful.
• Update and refresh existing website content when needed.

• *3\. Ad Copy \& PPC Support**

• Write ad copy for Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other paid campaigns, including headlines, descriptions, and CTAs.
• Write several copy variations for A/B testing as the PPC team needs them.
• Follow platform character limits and ad policies.

• *4\. Orestes In\-house Content**

• Write content for Orestes Technologies’ own social media, website, blogs, case studies, and service pages.
• Work with internal teams to gather updates, achievements, and service information that can be turned into content.

• *5\. Coordination with Creative \& Social Media Teams**

• Work closely with the Social Media Executive, designers, and video editors so that copy is delivered before creative production deadlines.
• Make sure the copy fits the creative and the campaign objective.
• Make revisions based on internal reviews and client feedback, within the agreed timelines.

• *6\. Quality, Research \& Trend Awareness**

• Proofread all content for grammar, spelling, clarity, and consistency before submission.
• Make sure all content is original and free of plagiarism.
• Follow social media trends, viral formats, and industry news, and suggest fresh content ideas.
• Learn and apply brand guidelines for each assigned client.

• *7\. Documentation \& Reporting**

• Keep a tracker of assigned content, submission status, approvals, and revisions.
• Raise any unclear briefs or possible delays with the reporting manager early.

• *Required Skills \& Qualifications**

• A bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
• Excellent written English, with strong grammar and vocabulary. Knowing Malayalam is an added advantage.
• A creative mindset and the ability to write in different tones and styles.
• A basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing is a plus (training will be provided).
• Good research skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle several tasks and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Google Docs, MS Word, and AI writing tools is an advantage.
• A portfolio, writing samples, blog, or internship work is preferred.
