• *About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to build and scale automated testing across enterprise web applications. This role requires strong expertise in Playwright with .NET, BDD automation using Reqnroll/SpecFlow, API testing, and CI/CD integration.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering mindset, treating test automation as production\-quality code while ensuring reliability, maintainability, and scalability of test suites.

• *Key ResponsibilitiesTest Automation Development**

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright with C\#/.NET.
• Create and execute end\-to\-end UI and API automated tests.
• Implement BDD test scenarios using Reqnroll (SpecFlow) and Gherkin.
• Develop reusable Page Objects, fixtures, utilities, and test data management strategies.
• Build automation coverage for functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.

• *API \& Database Testing**

• Validate REST APIs, authentication flows, and backend integrations.
• Perform database validation using SQL queries to verify application state and test results.
• Create automated tests for critical business workflows and integration points.

• *CI/CD \& DevOps**

• Integrate automation suites into Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Configure automated test execution, reporting, screenshots, logs, and trace collection.
• Optimize execution through parallelization and efficient test design.
• Support automated test execution across multiple environments.

• *Test Management \& Quality Assurance**

• Create and maintain BDD test cases within test management platforms such as Aqua, TestRail, Xray, Zephyr, or qTest.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and releases.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and QA teams to define test coverage.
• Perform exploratory testing and identify opportunities for automation.

• *Accessibility Testing**

• Implement automated accessibility testing using axe.
• Validate compliance with WCAG 2\.2 AA standards.
• Track, report, and verify accessibility issues.

• *Collaboration \& Continuous Improvement**

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including planning, refinement, stand\-ups, and retrospectives.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to framework improvements.
• Work closely with globally distributed teams across engineering, product, and QA.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, or similar platforms to improve productivity in test design, automation, debugging, and documentation.

• *Required Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5\+ years of QA Automation experience.
• Strong hands\-on experience with Playwright using C\#/.NET.
• Experience with Reqnroll or SpecFlow (BDD framework).
• Strong understanding of Page Object Model and automation framework design.
• Experience in API testing (REST, OAuth, JWT, API validation).
• Working knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Proficiency in Git version control.
• Familiarity with Jira and test management tools.
• Knowledge of accessibility testing and WCAG standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• *Preferred Qualifications**

• Experience with Aqua Test Management.
• Experience in SaaS, GovTech, or regulated industries.
• Exposure to performance testing tools such as k6, JMeter, or Artillery.
• Experience with Playwright visual regression testing.
• ISTQB Certification.
