Jr. DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior DevOps Engineer with 6 months to 1 year of hands\-on experience in DevOps, cloud, and deployment practices. The candidate will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to automate deployments, maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitor applications, and support cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.

Work with Git for source code management and version control.

Assist with application deployment and infrastructure management.

Work with Docker for containerizing applications.

Gain hands\-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.

Monitor application and infrastructure performance and troubleshoot basic issues.

Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Assist in managing Linux servers and perform basic system administration tasks.

Write basic Shell/Bash scripts to automate repetitive tasks.

Assist in infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

Monitor logs, services, and system health and participate in incident resolution.

Follow security, backup, deployment, and infrastructure best practices.

Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and senior DevOps engineers.

Required Skills

6 months to 1 year of experience in DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure.

Good understanding of Linux fundamentals.

Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub/GitLab.

Hands\-on or project experience with Docker.

Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines.

Basic knowledge of at least one cloud platform, preferably AWS.

Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.

Basic knowledge of Kubernetes.

Basic scripting knowledge in Bash/Shell.

Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, and firewalls.

Good troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills.

Good to Have

Knowledge of Terraform or Ansible.

Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

Basic knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, and Load Balancer.

Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Knowledge of security and cloud best practices.

Experience working with production or staging environments.

Pay: ₹15,000\.00 \- ₹25,000\.00 per month
