Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands\-on electronics professional to support PCB design, prototyping,
assembly, wiring, and hardware testing. The candidate will work closely with the engineering
team under the guidance of senior engineers to develop, program, and validate electronic
hardware for embedded systems.
Key Responsibilities
● PCB Design \& Documentation: Design and modify PCB layouts using KiCad, Altium
Designer, or similar tools based on existing schematics and engineering requirements.
Prepare PCB manufacturing files, Gerber files, Bill of Materials (BOM), and revision
documentation.
● Prototyping \& Assembly: Perform through\-hole and basic SMD soldering, desoldering,
component replacement, and PCB rework. Assemble electronic prototypes, prepare
wiring harnesses, crimp connectors, and perform cable termination.
● Testing \& Troubleshooting: Test and troubleshoot PCBs and electronic systems using a
multimeter, soldering station, DC bench power supply, and oscilloscope where required.
● Firmware \& Software Integration: Flash firmware and write basic Embedded C code for
microcontrollers; write basic Python scripts for test automation, data logging, or peripheral
verification.
● System Validation: Support hardware testing, validation, debugging, and integration of
sensors, actuators, controllers, and embedded devices.
● R\&D Support: Maintain component inventories, test records, assembly documentation,
and assist the engineering team with general hardware assembly activities as needed.
Required Skills
● Core Electronics: Strong understanding of basic analog and digital electronics
fundamentals.
● PCB Layout: Practical PCB design or layout experience using KiCad, Altium Designer, or
an equivalent CAD tool.
● Hands\-on Hardware: Solid soldering, wiring, connector assembly, and electronic
hardware troubleshooting skills.
● Schematics \& Datasheets: Ability to read circuit schematics, component datasheets,
and wiring diagrams accurately.
● Embedded Interfaces: Basic understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers,
GPIOs, and common communication protocols (UART, SPI, I²C, RS485\).
● Programming Basics: Basic programming skills in Embedded C for microcontroller logic
and Python for hardware testing, data logging, or script automation.
● Lab Equipment: Familiarity with multimeters, DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, and
basic electronics lab practices.
● Soft Skills: Willingness to learn, follow technical guidance, and work collaboratively in a
hands\-on environment.
Preferred Skills
● Experience building, programming, and testing at least one real\-world PCB project
end\-to\-end.
● Exposure to platforms such as Arduino, ESP32, STM32, or Raspberry Pi.
● Good technical documentation, strong attention to detail, and practical problem\-solving
skills.
