This role involves hands\-on mechanical engineering tasks, supporting senior engineers in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of blast furnace machinery. • *Primary Responsibilities:**

• Assist in the routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of blast furnace mechanical systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
• Support the implementation of preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for critical blast furnace equipment.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot mechanical failures and develop corrective action plans.
• Monitor equipment performance data and report anomalies to the maintenance team for timely intervention.
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical components and systems within the blast furnace department.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all mechanical operations and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, equipment history, and technical reports.
• Assist in coordinating with procurement and inventory teams to ensure availability of necessary spare parts and tools.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and reducing downtime.
• Support training programs for operational staff on mechanical system awareness and safety practices.
