Job Description – Junior QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail\-oriented **Junior QA Engineer** with **1–3 years of experience** in Quality Assurance. Candidates with experience in the **sheet metal manufacturing industry** will be preferred. The role involves inspecting products, ensuring compliance with quality standards, maintaining quality records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Roles \& Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in\-process, and final inspections of sheet metal components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Conduct dimensional inspections using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and other measuring instruments.
• Identify, document, and report quality defects and non\-conformities.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
• Support Root Cause Analysis and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and company quality procedures.
• Monitor product quality to ensure customer requirements are consistently met.
• Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement activities.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.
• Experience in sheet metal manufacturing is preferred.
• Good knowledge of engineering drawings and GD\&T.
• Familiarity with quality inspection tools and measuring instruments.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Email).

Pay: ₹18,000\.00 \- ₹35,000\.00 per month
