We are looking for a creative and passionate **Junior Knitwear Fashion Designer** to design and develop innovative ladies knitted garments. The candidate will work closely with the sampling, merchandising, and production teams to create trend\-driven products that meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design ladies knitted garments such as T\-shirts, tops, dresses, leggings, loungewear, and activewear.
Prepare design sketches, CADs, and technical specifications.
Develop mood boards, color stories, and seasonal collections.
Coordinate with the sampling team for prototype development.
Select fabrics, trims, prints, and embellishments suitable for knitwear.
Review samples and suggest fit and design improvements.
Research current fashion trends and competitor products.
Work with merchandising and production teams to ensure timely development.
Maintain design documentation and product records.
Required Skills
Knowledge of **Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or CLO 3D**.
Understanding of knit fabrics, garment construction, and sizing.
Good color combination and fashion sense.
Creativity with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team.
Qualification
Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Costume Design, or Textile Design.
Experience
**Freshers to 2 years** of experience in knitwear or ladies wear design.
Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply.
