• *About the Role**

We are looking for a Junior Python Developer to work closely with our engineering team on eScanX. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to build real\-world product experience, work with modern AI tools, and grow within a fast\-paced SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, test, and maintain clean, efficient Python code for the eScanX product
• Collaborate with senior developers and product team members on new features and bug fixes
• Use AI\-assisted development tools to improve coding speed, quality, and problem\-solving
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across the application
• Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices
• Document code and processes clearly for team reference
• Be reliably available and punctual during core working hours to support real\-time collaboration with the team

Requirements

• Solid foundation in **Python programming** (personal projects, internships, coursework, or professional experience all count)
• Familiarity with **AI\-assisted coding tools** (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) and a genuine interest in using them effectively
• Basic understanding of software development practices (version control/Git, debugging, testing)
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a remote, distributed team
• **Punctuality and reliability** — must be online and available consistently during working hours (9 AM – 5 PM, Finland time)
• Self\-motivated with a willingness to learn and take feedback well
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Nice to Have

• Exposure to web frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django, FastAPI)
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, or cloud platforms
• Experience with SaaS products or subscription\-based platforms
• Basic understanding of front\-end technologies
