Junior QA Engineer

• *Job Description – QA Engineer**

• *About the Role**We are looking for a QA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in both Manual and Automation Testing. The candidate should be able to understand requirements, prepare test scenarios, identify bugs effectively, and contribute towards automation testing for web and mobile applications.The ideal candidate should have good analytical skills, attention to detail, and understanding of software testing processes.

• *Responsibilities**

• Understand project requirements and functional specifications
• Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test reports
• Perform Manual Testing for web and mobile applications
• Identify, report, track, and verify bugs/issues
• Perform Regression, Smoke, Functional, and UI Testing
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business teams
• Create and maintain automation test scripts
• Participate in sprint planning and QA discussions
• Ensure product quality before production releases
• Validate APIs and backend responses where required

• *Required SkillsManual Testing**

• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience in:
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Smoke Testing
• UI/UX Validation
• Cross\-browser / Cross\-device Testing
• Strong bug reporting and debugging skills
• Experience using tools like:
• Jira
• ClickUp
• Trello
• TestRail (optional)

• *Automation Testing**

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of automation frameworks
• Experience with any one or more:
• Selenium
• Cypress
• Playwright
• Appium
• Knowledge of writing and executing automation test cases
• Understanding of CI/CD testing flow is a plus

• *Additional Skills**

* Basic API testing knowledge using

• Postman
• Swagger
• Basic SQL/database understanding
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to independently test modules/features

• Experience with performance or security testing
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub
• Knowledge of Firebase, logs, or analytics debugging
• Basic scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Java, or Python
