Job Description – QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled **QA Automation Engineer** with expertise in manual and automated testing across web, mobile, API, performance, and security domains. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable test automation frameworks, ensuring product quality across SDLC/STLC, and working in Agile environments. Hands\-on experience with chatbot testing and AI\-driven validation is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts across web, mobile, and API platforms.

· Perform **manual testing** and defect tracking throughout the SDLC/STLC in Agile environments.

· Build and maintain **test automation frameworks** (Selenium, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, Pytest, Robot Framework, Cucumber BDD).

· Conduct **API testing** (Postman, Playwright) for REST APIs – including validation, schema checks, and error handling.

· Perform **performance testing** (JMeter, k6\) for load, stress, and spike scenarios.

· Execute **security testing** (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite) to identify vulnerabilities such as XSS, SQL injection, and misconfigurations.

· Test **chatbots and AI systems** using OpenAI APIs, NLP tools, and custom Python frameworks for accuracy, flow validation, and A/B testing.

· Carry out **cross\-browser and cross\-device testing** via BrowserStack for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS.

· Collaborate with developers, product owners, and Agile teams to ensure seamless QA integration.

· Maintain test documentation, track defects in JIRA, and provide detailed test reports.

· Contribute to **CI/CD pipelines** by integrating automated tests with Git/GitHub workflows.

Required Skills \& Experience

• Strong experience in **manual testing** with a deep understanding of SDLC/STLC in Agile methodologies.
• Hands\-on expertise in **web automation** (Selenium, Playwright), **mobile automation** (Appium), and **frameworks** (TestNG, Pytest, Robot Framework, Cucumber).
• Proven ability to design and maintain **scalable, reusable test frameworks**.
• Experience in **API testing** with Postman and API automation tools.
• Knowledge of **performance testing tools** (JMeter, k6\).
• Familiarity with **security testing practices** and tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite.
• Strong exposure to **AI chatbot testing,** NLP\-based validation, and OpenAI API integrations.
• Expertise in **cross\-browser/device testing** using BrowserStack.
• Proficiency in **Git/GitHub** for version control and Agile collaboration using JIRA.
• Excellent analytical skills, problem\-solving, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in Agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating automated testing with **CI/CD pipelines.**
• Prior experience in **AI/NLP\-driven application testing.**
• Strong coding skills in **Python and/or Java** for automation.
• Knowledge of cloud testing environments and scalable test architecture.

Pay: ₹15,000\.00 \- ₹25,000\.00 per month
