• *Job Summary**

We are seeking a Junior Test Engineer to perform field and laboratory testing of Altor's

smart helmets, vehicle units, Bluetooth intercom systems, and related electronic products.

This role requires frequent outdoor testing on motorcycles to validate product performance under real\-world conditions. The ideal candidate should be comfortable riding a two\-wheeler, possess basic electronics knowledge, and enjoy practical engineering work.

• *Key Responsibilities**

Field Testing

● Perform road testing of smart helmets, vehicle units, and Bluetooth intercom

systems.

● Execute predefined test cases during real\-world riding conditions.

● Verify Bluetooth connectivity, audio quality, call performance, music playback, navigation prompts, and intercom functionality.

● Test products under various environmental and operating conditions.

● Record observations, collect logs, photos, videos, and prepare detailed test reports.

● Identify, reproduce, and document product issues clearly for the engineering team.

Electronics Testing

● Perform basic electrical measurements using a digital multimeter.

● Measure voltage, current consumption, continuity, and verify basic hardware

functionality.

● Assist in battery charging/discharging tests.

● Assist hardware and firmware teams during product development and validation.

Quality \& Documentation

● Maintain accurate test records and issue reports.

● Verify fixes after hardware or firmware updates.

● Coordinate with Hardware, Embedded, and Software teams for issue resolution.

● Assist in maintaining test equipment and test vehicles.

• *Required Skills**

● Basic understanding of electronics.

● Ability to use a digital multimeter.

● Knowledge of voltage, current, resistance, continuity, and battery testing.

● Good observation and troubleshooting skills.

● Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Word, report preparation).

● Good communication and documentation skills.

● Willingness to perform extensive outdoor testing.

• *Mandatory Requirements**

● Must own and regularly ride a motorcycle or scooter (two\-wheeler).

● Valid two\-wheeler driving license.

● Comfortable riding for extended durations during product testing.

● Willing to travel locally for field validation.

● Physically fit for outdoor testing activities.

• *Preferred Qualifications**

● ITI in Electronics

● Diploma in Electronics

● Diploma or certification in a relevant technical field

● Freshers are encouraged to apply.

• *Preferred Experience**

Experience in any of the following is an advantage

● Electronics testing

● Mobile accessories or Bluetooth devices

● Automotive electronics
