K-12 Math Curriculum Specialist (US K-12 Standards)

We are seeking an experienced Math Curriculum \& Instruction Specialist to help design, develop, and evaluate AI\-powered mathematics learning experiences for K–12 and AP students.

The ideal candidate combines strong mathematics education expertise with experience in curriculum development, instructional design, assessment creation, and U.S. educational standards. They will work closely with our AI and product teams to ensure our tutoring platform provides standards\-aligned instruction.

Key Responsibilities

• **Standards Alignment:** Develop and map curriculum, lessons, learning objectives, and assessments to Common Core (CCSS\-M), Texas TEKS, Florida B.E.S.T., and College Board AP frameworks.
• **Curriculum \& Content Development:** Design grade\-appropriate math problems, exercises, real\-world applications, and detailed step\-by\-step solutions for K–12 and AP courses.
• **Question Bank Development:** Build and maintain structured question banks tagged by grade, topic, standard, learning objective, difficulty, cognitive level, and prerequisite knowledge.
• **AI Tutor Instructional Design:** Define teaching strategies that help the AI tutor adapt to individual student proficiency, identify misconceptions, provide hints, scaffold learning, and promote conceptual understanding.
• **AI Testing \& Evaluation:** Test AI\-generated questions, explanations, solutions, and tutoring interactions for mathematical accuracy, instructional quality, difficulty appropriateness, and standards alignment.
• **Assessment \& Rubric Design:** Develop diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments, evaluation rubrics, proficiency levels, and student mastery criteria.
• **Continuous Improvement:** Analyze student learning gaps and AI performance, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve the tutoring experience.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Curriculum \& Instruction, or a related field.
• 3\+ years of experience in mathematics teaching, curriculum development, instructional design, or assessment development.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. mathematics standards, particularly Common Core, TEKS, and Florida B.E.S.T.
• Experience designing standards\-aligned curriculum, math problems, worked solutions, assessments, and evaluation rubrics.
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, scaffolding, formative assessment, and student\-centered learning.
• Excellent mathematical reasoning, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience teaching or developing AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Statistics, or AP Precalculus.
• Experience with AI\-powered educational platforms, adaptive tutoring, or digital assessments.
• Familiarity with LLM evaluation, AI\-generated content validation, Bloom's Taxonomy, and Depth of Knowledge (DOK).
• Ability to collaborate with AI engineers and product teams to translate instructional requirements into product specifications.

Pay: ₹500,000\.00 \- ₹800,000\.00 per year
